Fire officials said the blaze had blackened some 1,600 acres (650 hectares).

Cambodia Stampede: Water Festival Surge Kills Dozens- Full Video

The death toll from a stampede at a Cambodian festival has risen to 345, the country's official news agency said Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the government said it will help with the transport of the bodies of those who died and pay 5 million riel ($1,230) to the family of each of the deceased.
The three-day festival, which began Saturday, is held each November near the palace to honor a victory by Cambodian naval forces during the 12th-century reign of King Jayvarman VII, according to the country's tourism website.
During the festival, which includes boat races, participants pray for a good rice harvest, enough rain and celebrate the full moon, the site says.
Visalsok Nou, a Cambodian Embassy official in Washington, said more than 4 million people were attending the Water Festival when the stampede occurred.
The municipal police chief said that the stampede, which began around 10 p.m. (10 a.m. ET), likely occurred because a suspension bridge packed with people began to sway, creating panic, said Philip Bader, a news editor with the Phnom Penh Post newspaper.

"My biggest fear for the samba is getting off beat, because once you're off beat, you're screwed," Bristol told the camera during rehearsal footage.

Despite losing the beat a bit, she scored fairly well, for a total score of 47 out of a possible 60. Still she came in last among the five remaining dancers.

 

Rape Charge Dropped After Samantha Kelly 14-Year-Old Girl Accuser Commits Suicide - Full Video

Samantha Kelly endured merciless taunting from classmates after they learned that the high school freshman had accused a senior of rape.

Samantha went home from school Monday and hanged herself in this community southwest of Detroit.

Samantha's mother screamed at 18-year-old Joseph Tarnopolski after his brief court appearance and had to be restrained by a relative. She told reporters she was not consulted about the decision to dismiss the third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge.

"My daughter did not get any justice," June Justice said.

Tarnopolski told the Detroit Free Press he was sorry to hear of the girl's death. He told Detroit station WJBK Samantha was "a friend" and felt "a little bit" responsible, but said others were behind any taunts.

"If she was getting ridiculed, it's not because it me," Tarnopolski said. "It's because of somebody else."

Samantha's accusations became known to many of her neighbors and classmates after she and her mother spoke to a local television station about the matter. Samantha's face was blocked out, but word of her allegations quickly spread.
